The invention relates to peptide derivatives (peptides and pseudo-peptides) and to the use thereof as carriers for molecules of interest. The invention also relates to conjugates containing a peptide derivative of the invention bonded to a molecule of interest. The peptides and prodrug conjugates of the invention can be used for carrying molecules of pharmaceutical or diagnostic interest, such as therapeutic molecules, imaging or diagnosis agents or molecular probes, through cellular membranes, and in particular for promoting the transport thereof through the blood-brain barrier (BBB).
