A peptide having the structure of the p277 sequence of hsp60 in which one or both cysteine residues are replaced by valine residues and/or in which the Thr19 residue is replaced by Lys, has substantially the same biological activity as p277 but with substantially improved stability. The novel p277 analogues may be used for every purpose that p277 can be used.

Cette invention concerne un peptide possédant la structure de la séquence p227 de la protéine du stress 60 (hsp 60), dans laquelle l'un ou les deux restes de cystéine sont remplacés par des restes de valine, et/ou le reste de Thr<19> est remplacé par Lys. Ce peptide a pratiquement la même activité biologique que le p227, mais possède une stabilité accrue par rapport à ce dernier. Ces nouveaux analogues du p227 peuvent être employés aux mêmes fins que le p227 lui-même.
