A composition for the delayed delivery of a peptide active agent comprising; i) a salt of said peptide active agent comprising at least one positively charged peptide ion and at least one negatively charged counter-ion ii) a sustained-release delivery vehicle. Wherein said at least one negatively charged counter-ion is a halide ion, preferably a chloride or bromide ion.

L'invention concerne une composition pour l'administration retardée d'un agent actif peptidique comprenant : i) un sel dudit agent actif peptidique comprenant au moins un ion de peptide positivement chargé et au moins un contre-ion négativement chargé ; et ii) un véhicule d'administration à libération prolongée, caractérisée en ce que ledit ou lesdits contre-ions négativement chargés sont des ions halogénures, de préférence des ions chlorure ou bromure.
