The object is to provide a peptide vaccine for prevention and/or treatment of a disease induced by amyloid-.beta.-peptide such as Alzheimer~s disease. Disclosed is a peptide having: a peptide segment which has an amino acid sequence for a multiagretope-type T-cell epitope having an established immunological memory or an amino acid sequence for a peptide containing the epitope; and a peptide segment which has an amino acid sequence for a B-cell epitope located at a specific cite of amyloid-.beta.-peptide or an amino acid sequence for a peptide containing the epitope, the two peptide segments being linked via a linker, wherein the peptide also has therein an amino acid sequence for a cell-binding motif of a cell adhesion molecule.
La présente invention concerne un vaccin peptidique destiné à prévenir et/ou traiter une maladie induite par le peptide amyloïde .beta., telle que la maladie d'Alzheimer. La présente invention a trait à un peptide possédant : un segment peptidique ayant une séquence d'acides aminés pour un épitope de lymphocytes T de type multi-agrétope possédant une mémoire immunologique établie ou une séquence d'acides aminés pour un peptide contenant l'épitope; ainsi qu'un segment peptidique ayant une séquence d'acides aminés pour un épitope de lymphocytes B situé à un site spécifique du peptide amyloïde .beta. ou une séquence d'acides aminés pour un peptide contenant l'épitope, les deux segments peptidiques étant liés par un lieur, le peptide ayant également une séquence d'acides aminés pour un motif de liaison cellulaire ou une molécule d'adhésion cellulaire.
