The present invention is directed to peptides comprising the sequence ASNKL (SEQ ID N~ 1), inducing attraction of the axonal growth in presence of the semaphorin (Sema3A), L1 and NP-1 proteins and their use for the manufacture of a drug for neuronal/axonal regeneration or for treating neurodegenerative diseases. The present invention also includes a method for identifying a compound able to bind the NP-1, a method for identifying a compound able to revert the repulsory effect of Sema3A on the axonal growth from a suited cell, or methods to screen for molecules capable of blocking Sema3A- induced endocytosis.
La présente invention concerne des peptides comprenant la séquence ASNKL (SEQ ID N· 1) qui induisent l'attraction de la croissance axonale en présence de la sémaphorine (Sema3A), des protéines L1 et NP-1, et leur utilisation pour produire un médicament qui permet la régénération neuronale/axonale ou le traitement de maladies de neurodégénérescence. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé pour identifier un composé capable de se lier à NP-1, un procédé pour identifier un composé capable d'inverser l'effet de répulsion de Sema3A sur la croissance axonale à partir d'une cellule appropriée, ou des procédés pour cribler des molécules capables de bloquer l'endocytose induite par Sema3A.
