The invention concerns novel peptide and nucleotide sequences, and their pharmaceutical use. More particularly, the invention concerns novel polypeptides capable of inhibiting at least partially the interaction between presenilin 1 or presenilin 2 and the .beta.-amyloid peptide precursor and/or the .beta.-amyloid peptide. The invention also concerns the preparation of in vitro tests for detecting molecules and in particular molecules capable of inhibiting said interaction.
La présente invention concerne de nouvelles séquences peptidiques et nucléotidiques, et leur utilisation pharmaceutique. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne de nouveaux polypeptides capables d'inhiber au moins en partie l'interaction entre la préséniline 1 ou la préséniline 2 d'une part et le précurseur du peptide .beta.-amyloïde et/ou le peptide .beta.- amyloïde d'autre part. La présente invention concerne aussi l'élaboration de tests in vitro pour la mise en évidence de molécules et en particulier de petites molécules capables d'inhiber cette interaction.
