The invention relates to a method of obtaining peptides from random libraries of recombinant phages comprising epitopes that can react with hepatitis A convalescent sera, said peptides having a sequence of aminoacids that is not exactly the same as the aminoacid sequence found in the peptides of the proteins forming the immunogenic and neutralising domains of the hepatitis A virus (HAV). The aforementioned peptides or combinations thereof can be used in the detection of antibodies against HAV in biological samples and to induce immune responses in humans and animals.
La présente invention concerne l'obtention de peptides à partir de banques aléatoires de phages recombinés contenant des épitopes capables de réagir avec les sérums de patients atteints de l'hépatite A, ladite séquence d'acides aminés ne correspondant pas exactement à la séquence d'acides aminés se trouvant dans les peptides des protéines correspondant aux régions immunogéniques et neutralisantes du virus de l'hépatite A (VHA). Ces peptides ou leurs combinaisons peuvent être utiles dans la détection d'anticorps contre le VHA dans des échantillons biologiques et pour induire des réponses immunes chez l'homme et chez l'animal.
