A percussive massager (20) is provided having a housing (22) supporting a motor (50) having an output shaft (54) rotatably driven thereby. At least one positioning member (86) is movable connected to a percussion arm (74) which is attached to the housing (22) and operably connected to the motor output shaft (54). At least two massage nodes (42) are operably connected to the percussion arm (74), one of which being attached to the positioning member (86) to form a massage surface and move toward and away from the housing (22) to provide a percussive massage effect. A rotary mechanism is rotatable with respect to the percussion arm (74) and drives the positioning member (86) toward and away from a central region (106) of the housing. An ancillary transmission has an output and an input for operably imparting rotation to the rotary mechanism such that the spacing of the massage nodes progessively increases and decreases.
L'invention concerne un appareil de massage à percussion comprenant un logement supportant un moteur dont l'arbre est entraîné de façon rotative. Au moins un élément de positionnement est connecté mobile à un bras de percussion fixé au logement et connecté, de façon opératoire, à l'arbre de sortie du moteur. Au moins deux renflements de massage sont connectés, de façon opératoire, au bras de percussion, dont l'un est fixé à l'élément de positionnement, afin de former une surface de massage et se déplace en va-et-vient par rapport au logement afin de réaliser un effet de massage par percussion. Un mécanisme rotatif tourne par rapport à l'arbre de percussion et entraîne l'élément de positionnement en va-et-vient à partir d'une région centrale du logement. Une transmission auxiliaire comporte une sortie et une entrée afin de conférer un mouvement de rotation au mécanisme rotatif de façon que l'espacement des renflements de massage augmente et diminue progressivement.
