PERCUSSIVE TOOL Abstract A percussive tool comprising a housing accommoda- ting a movable striker and connected with a power cylinder in which is arranged a striker shank with a gripping mechanism and a drive in the form of a hydraulic cylinder. The percussive tool is provided with a control unit having a spool valve means to control a distribution means. The spool valve means has a casing and a spool taking two positions in the casing and defining two chambers interconnected through a throttling means. One chamber constantly communicates with a discharge line, and the other chamber is periodically put in communication with the space of the hydraulic cylinder. The spool is spring-loaded with respect to the casing on the side of one chamber and takes in this case its first position.
