This invention is an intravascular occlusion device (10) for Atrial Septal Defects (ASD), and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) treatment. The device (10) is constructed of resilient metal fabric (14, 14'), and is capable of assuming both an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. Once expelled out of a delivery catheter (314) the device returns to its expanded configuration in either a generally barbell configuration or a generally bell- shaped configuration.
