ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A perforated film has a perforated middle portion, and at least one unperforated edge portion along an edge of the film. This film is particularly useful for overwrapping yarn in yarn dyeing applications. The film of the invention is characterized by the substantial absence of jagged edges along at least one edge of the film, especially a longitudi- nal edge, resulting in a more suitable material for packaging abuse sensitive yarn materials.
