Performing compression includes receiving at a compressor a flow comprising packets, where each packet has a packet identifier. The packet identifiers are associated with a predetermined increment, but any change in the predetermined increment is ignored. The packets are compressed, and the flow is transmitted to a decompressor.
L'invention concerne un procédé de compression qui comporte les étapes consistant à : recevoir à un système de compression un flot comprenant des paquets, chaque paquet comportant un identificateur de paquet ; associer les identificateurs de paquet à un incrément prédéterminé, tout changement d'incrément étant ignoré ; comprimer les paquets et transmettre le flot à un système de décompression.
