A bioreactor system comprising a multi-well platform including an array of bioreactor units. The bioreactor system comprises a perfusion unit (86) and a fluid source unit (92) fluidly interconnected by a pumping unit (82). The perfusion unit comprises a multi-well plate including a plurality of main chambers (83) configured to house or contain a cell culture and in each bioreactor unit an independent cell study or experiment may be performed.
