A perimeter weighted foundation (100) has a central pier pedestal (102) and an enlarged base spaced outwardly and extending below the pedestal. The enlarged base includes an outer concentric perimeter wall section with a radially extending, disk-shaped (104) spread section interconnecting the bottom of the pedestal section and the top of the perimeter wall section. The pedestal section includes vertically extending post-tensioning anchor bolts sleeved through substantially the entire height of the cylindrical pedestal. The spread section includes two layers of similarly sleeved post-tensioning bolts which extend through the bottom of the pedestral section and into or through the top of the perimeter wall section, thus tying together the enlarged base to the pier pedestal.
L'invention concerne une fondation à lestage périphérique (100) comprenant un socle de pilier central (102) et une base élargie espacée vers l'extérieur et se prolongeant sous le socle. Cette base élargie comprend un paroi périmétrique concentrique extérieure munie d'une partie élargie en forme de disque (104) se prolongeant dans le sens radial et reliant la partie inférieure du socle à la partie supérieure de la paroi périmétrique. Ledit socle comprend des boulons d'ancrage verticaux de post-tension recouverts sur la quasi-totalité de la hauteur du socle cylindrique. La partie élargie comporte deux couches de boulons de post-tension recouverts de manière similaire, ces boulons se prolongeant à travers la partie inférieure du socle et dans la partie supérieure de la paroi périmétrique, la base élargie étant ainsi reliée au socle de pilier.
