A permanent sign consisting of a magnetically attractable signboard, a frame supporting the signboard, and a support for supporting the frame. The frame is secured to the perimeter of the magnetically attractable signboard to strengthen and protect the signboard. The frame includes a number of apertures located at the bottom or on the sides of the frame to allow the frame to be mechanically secured to the support. The support consists of one or two columns that include a number of apertures at the top or on the side of each column to allow the support to be mechanically secured to the bottom or side of the frame. The support also includes a number of apertures at the bottom to allow each column to be mechanically secured to an anchor by means of threaded anchor bolts. Graphic elements cut from a magnetic material are detachably securable to the signboard by magnetic attraction without the location of attachment being constrained by the position of any mechanical securing means.
