Disclosed is a permanently fireproof flame guard comprising a flow area (2) which terminates a conduit and within which an inserted flame shield is disposed, said flame shield being provided with a plurality of passage gaps that ensure permanent fire safety. Cooling of said permanently fireproof flame guard can be improved by forming at least one concentric, annular section (5) within the flow area (2) in a massive manner without passage gaps while forming annular sections (4) comprising passage gaps around said concentric, annular section (5).

L'invention concerne un pare-flamme à incombustibilité permanente, présentant une section transversale d'écoulement (2) qui se trouve à l'extrémité d'un conduit et dans lequel est inséré un élément pare-flamme comportant une pluralité de fentes de passage qui assurent l'incombustibilité permanente du pare-flamme. Le refroidissement de ce pare-flamme peut être amélioré par formation, dans la section transversale d'écoulement (2), d'au moins une section annulaire concentrique pleine (5) ne comportant pas de fentes de passage, et de plusieurs sections annulaires (4) comprenant des fentes de passage, autour de ladite section annulaire concentrique pleine (5).
