Disclosed is a device for causing the transdermal flux of a permeant into a subject via at least one formed pathway through a skin layer of the subject. The device comprises a delivery reservoir comprising: i) a non-biodegradable matrix having a bottom surface and defining a plurality of conduits therein the matrix, at least a portion of the plurality of conduits being in communication with the bottom surface; and ii) an undissolved hydrophilic permeant disposed therein at least a portion of the plurality of conduits of the matrix, wherein the hydrophilic permeant can come in contact with subcutaneous fluid from the subject when the bottom surface of the matrix is positioned in fluid communication with the at least one formed pathway. Also disclosed are systems and methods for causing the transdermal flux of a permeant into a subject via at least one formed pathway through a skin layer of the subject.
Dispositif de délivrance de flux transdermique de perméant chez un sujet via au moins un trajet formé à travers une couche de peau. Le dispositif comprend un réservoir à: i) matrice non biodégradable ayant un fond et définissant plusieurs conduits, et au moins une partie des conduits communiquent avec ce fond; et ii) perméant hydrophile non dissous à l'intérieur, au moins dans une partie des conduits, pouvant être en contact avec un fluide sous-cutané du sujet lorsque le fond de la matrice est en communication fluidique avec le ou les trajets formés.
