ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE PEROXIDE/FILLER INITIATOR COMPOSITIONS A solid particulate peroxide/filler composition com- prised of a solid particulate peroxide mixed with a solid particu- late halogenated polyolefin such as polyvinylchloride (PVC). By incorporating a peroxide/halogenated polyolefin filler composition as a curing agent with an uncured unsaturated polyester resin, a cured polymerized polyester polymer is produced. A process is disclosed for continuously producing a cured extruded polyester resin which comprises the steps of: blending uncured unsaturated polyester resin with the solid particulate organic peroxide/hal- ogenated polyolefin filler composition to form an extrusion stock blend and, continuously extruding the extrusion stock blend.
