This invention relates to peroxyketals derived from cyclic_-keto esters and use of the same in the curing of resins, such as unsaturated polyester resins. The new peroxyketals were synthesized via an acid catalyzed reaction of cyclic_-keto esters with aliphatic hydroperoxides.

L'invention concerne des peroxycétals dérivés de .beta.-céto-esters cycliques et leur utilisation pour le durcissement de résines, par exemple de résines de polyester insaturé. Ces nouveaux peroxycétals ont été synthétisés au moyen d'une réaction, catalysée par un acide, de .beta.-céto-esters cycliques et d'hydroperoxydes aliphatiques.
