PBC 1 - ABSTRACT The present invention, called the perpetual blind cal- endar, and abbreviated as (PBC), deals with perpetual calendars and related issues, adjustable monthly, or yearly, with respect to the month/week relation using strips with equal size divisions, 1 strip divided into a number of divisions equal to the number of days in the longest month in the year plus six, housing equal number of consecutive weekdays and the other strip or strips, representing consecutively the 12 months of the year, are divided, each one of them, into a number of divisions equal to the number of days in the month represented by the strip in question, with the provis- ion to move the strips representing the months with respect to the weekdays' strip to align the first day of each month in line with the corresponding weekdays on which each month begins, expanding into a variety of perpetual calendars; a) using one strip representing one month at a time, b) using 12 strips representing the 12 months of the year, and set parallel to the weekday strip in between guides, c) using 12 strips suspended with ties fixed to the weekday strip, with provisions of lateral movement, d) using 2 circular discs with a central pin, one housing the weekday strip, and the other housing one month of the year at a time, e) us- ing 13 circular discs or rings, one for the weekdays and 12 for the 12 months of the year, f) using 13 solid strips held on their support by pressure, g) using a mini pocket perpetual calendar with 13 strips held by sticking, magnetic, or guiding means, PBC 2 or the like h) using 13 mini-strips suspended on flexible ties, i) using 2 mini-strips attached to each other with flexible ties, j) using 13 circular discs, with a central pin, the largest disc, for weekdays, marked at opposite sides with 6 discs on each side representing the 12 months of the year, k) with add- itional multi-rows of alpha-numeric common denominator variable symbols representing the weekdays, the dates, the months and the year, embossed, engraved, with holding means, with bi-colour fillers, with sliding fillers, with superimposed patterns, with projecting lights along the tracks of the alpha-numeric symbols, etc., 1) using combined perpetual calendar with 12 additional strips inserted in between the original strips to show the corresponding dates on short year, moon calendars, Chinese calendars, etc., m) using alpha-numeric common denominator symbols for the weekdays and the numbers of the month to be legible visually, and by visually impaired persons through touching process, n) using additional alpha-numeric common denominator symbols with means of reducing or enlarging said symbols as required, o) using lighting sources projecting light lines along the tracks of the common denominator symbols, p) by displaying the strips representing the months longitudinally on a transparent rotative cylinder, q) by spreading the months strips on a window blind shape canvas, r) by displaying the months strips on a continuous belt like assembly.
