PERSONALIZED ELECTRONIC GREETING CARDS AND METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING SAME ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Greeting cards are provided which include memory devices for storing digital data which controls generation of an audible greeting speech synthesizing circuitry being provided for this purpose. Programming circuitry is provided for storing digital data in the memory device which corresponds to a user's voice. The electronic circuitry of the card is sandwiched between a central portion of layers of sheet material, one layer having a central opening for user access to the circuitry, as for installation of a memory device in the card.
