ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Thioamides of the general formula: Image (I) and their salts, wherein A represents either a) a cyclopropyl group of the general formula: Image wherein Ra and Rb both represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a halogen atom; or Ra and Rb together represent an alkylene group having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; or Ra represents a hydrogen atom and Rb represents an alkenyl group having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms, or a haloalkenyl group having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms and 1 to 3 chlorine or bromine atoms; or b) a benzyl group of the general formula: Image (III) wherein Hal represents a halogen atom and Y represents an alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
