A B S T R A C T Pesticidal cyclopropyl carboxylates having the the following general formula:- Image (I) wherein X is a halogen atom; R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R2 is an alkyl group; or R1 and R2 together represent an alkylene chain; R3 is a hydrogen atom a cyano, enthynyl or thioamide group; and R is a phenoxyphenyl, benzylphenyl, phenylthiophenyl, benzylfuryl, halophenyl. phthalimido, tetrahydro- phthalimido, or halophenoxyphenyl group.
