ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pesticidal composition including as active ingredi- ents: (a) 2-chloro-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)vinyl diethyl phosphate (here- in referred to as chlorfenvinphos); and (b) a pyrethroid insecticide having the following general formula: Image wherein A is an optionally-substituted aralkyl, alkyl or cyclo- alkyl group, R is hydrogen, cyano or ethynyl, X is alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl or aryloxy, and n is 1 to 5; and wherein the weight ratio of the pyrethroid insecticide to chlorfenvinphos is in the range 5:1 to 1:50.
