Pesticidal compounds having general formula (I) or a salt thereof is provided, in which n represents an integer from 0 to 4; m represents an integer 0 or 1; each R independently represents a halogen atom or a nitro, cyano, hydroxyl, alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, haloalkenoxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, alkanoyl, alkylthio, alhylsulphinyl, alkylsulphonyl, carbamoyl, alkylamido, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl group; R1 and R2 each independently represent an optionally substantially alkoxy group or together represent a group =O, =S or =N-OR9, where R9 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group; R3 represents a hydroxyl group, or a group -OL where L is a leaving group, or a group which in vivo is transformed into a group -OL1 where L1 is a leaving group, R6 represents an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy, cycloalkyloxy, cycloalkenyloxy or aryloxy group; R7 and R8 independently represent an optionally substituted alkoxy group or together represent a group =O, =S or =N-OR9, where R9 is as previously defined; wherein R4 and R5 independently represent a halogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkenyl group, or together with the interjacent carbon atom represent an optionally substituted cylcoalkyl or cycloalkenyl ring; and A represents a straight or branched chain alkyl or alkenyl group, which may be optionally substituted, preferably with halogen, an acyclic carbon chain of which links the 3 position of the naphthalene ring shown and the moiety -CR4R5R6; with the proviso that when R1 and R2, and R7 and R8 are groups = 0, m and n =0; R4 and R5 are methyl and R6 is ethenyl; R3 is not hydroxyl or ethanoyloxy.
La présente invention concerne des composés pesticides représentés par la formule générale (I) ou un de leurs sels. Dans cette formule, n représente un entier de 0 à 4; m représente un entier qui est 0 ou 1; chaque R représente indépendamment un atome d'halogène ou un groupe nitro, cyano, hydroxyle, alkyle, alcényle, haloalkyle, haloalcényle, alcoxy, haloalcoxy, haloalcénoxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alcoxycarbonyle, carboxyle, alcanoyle, alkylthio, alkylsulphinyle, alkylsulphonyle, carbamyle, alkylamido, cycloalkyle, aryle ou aralkyle; R<1> et R<2> représentent chacun indépendamment un groupe alcoxy éventuellement substitué ou, pris conjointement, un groupe =O, =S, ou =N-OR<9>, où R<9> représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle éventuellement substitué; R<3> représente un groupe hydroxyle, ou un groupe -OL où L est un groupe labile, ou un groupe qui est transformé in vivo en un groupe -OL<1> où L<1> est un groupe labile; R<6> représente un groupe, éventuellement substitué, alkyle, alcényle, alkynyle, cycloalkyle, clycloalcényle, aryle, alcoxy, alcényloxy, alkynyloxy, cycloalkyloxy, clycloalcényloxy ou aryloxy; R<7> et R<8> représentent indépendamment un groupe alcoxy éventuellement substitué ou, conjointement, un groupe =O, =S, ou =N-OR<9>, où R<9> est tel que précédemment défini; R<4> et R<5> représentent indépendamment un atome d'halogène ou un groupe alkyle ou alcényle éventuellement substitué, ou, pris conjointement avec l'atome de carbone intermédiaire, représentent un cycle cycloalkyle ou cycloalcényle éventuellement substitué; et A représente un groupe alkyle ou alcényle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, qui peut être éventuellement substitué, de préférence avec un halogène, dont une chaîne de carbones acyclique est liée à la position 3 du cycle naphtalène indiqué et à la fraction -CR<4>R<5>R<6>; à condition qu e lorsque R<1> et R<2>, et R<7> et R<8> sont des groupes =O, m et n =0, R<4> et R<5> représentent un méthyle et R<6> représente un éthényle, alors R<3> ne représente ni hydroxyle ni éthanoyloxy.
