A pet waste scoop including: a rim defining a scoop; the rim having an aperture sized to receive a disposable pet waste bag fitted thereon; a handle coupled to the rim; and, a disposable pet waste bag dispenser incorporated in the handle for dispensing bags. The rim has a lifting surface inclined at an angle to serve as a lip for the pick- up of pet waste. The rim is covered by the bag to prevent soiling of the rim by pet waste. The bag is held in position on the rim by a user's grasp on the handle.
