Polyamide powders for cosmetic applications are described which have a pH between 4.0 and 7.0 by applying a buffer system, desirably of naturally occurring acids, such as a phosphate or citrate buffer system. The polyamide powders have an average particle diameter generally from 1 to 400 µm and may be produced by a precipitation method or an anionic solution polymerization.

On décrit des poudres de polyamide destinées à des applications en cosmétique, poudres ayant un pH entre 4,0 et 7,0 et faisant appel à un système tampon, de préférence d'acides naturels, comme un système tampon au phosphate ou au citrate. Le diamètre moyen des particules dans les poudres de polyamide se situe entre 1 et 400  m, et ces poudres peuvent être produites à l'aide d'une méthode de précipitation ou de polymérisation d'une solution anionique.
