Abstract of the Disclosure A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of peptie ulcer which contains 2-N-methy1-1,1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-9H-dibenzo- [a,e]-pyridino{3,4-e}cycloheptatriene (MO-8282) or its pharma- ceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient in association with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The said compound exhibits high efficacy in the treatment of peptic ulcer and has low toxicity.
