The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as active principles, (i) metformin optionally in the form of one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and (ii) a fibrate chosen from fenofibrate and bezafibrate, in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. These compositions are particularly suitable for the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique comprenant, comme principes actifs, (i) de la metformine se présentant éventuellement sous la forme d'un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, et (ii) un fibrate choisi parmi fénofibrate et bézafibrate, combiné à un ou plusieurs excipients pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Ces compositions conviennent particulièrement au traitement du diabète non-insulinodépendant.
