To provide a pharmaceutical composition which performs a remarkable effect with a relatively decreased dosage, and, with less side effects, a pharmaceutical composition formulated by combination of an angiotensin II-mediated compound or a salt thereof with at least one species of a compound having the activity of increasing insulin- sensitivity, a compound having the activity of improving postprandial hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus, an indane derivative having the activity of inhibiting angiotensin converting enzyme, a pyridine derivative having the activity of inhibiting HMG-Co A reductase or salts thereof are advantageously employed.

La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique efficace pour un dosage relativement réduit, et présentant moins d'effets secondaires. Pour la formule de cette composition on utilise avantageusement une combinaison entre, d'une part un composé à médiation par l'angiotensine II ou l'un de ses sels, et d'autre part au moins une espèce choisie parmi les composés augmentant la sensibilité à l'insuline, les composés améliorant l'hyperglycémie postprandiale dans le cas du diabète sucré, un dérivé de l'indane inhibant l'enzyme de conversion de l'angiotensine, un dérivé de pyridine inhibant la Co A réductase du HMG, ou l'un de leurs sels.
