PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositions pharmaceutiques contenant dans un excipient pharmaceutique- ment acceptable, au moins un des mono, di et tri-esters de dihydroxy-1,8 phényl-10 anthrone-9 ou anthranol-9 répondant à la formule générale (I): Image (I) dans laquelle p est 0 ou 1, (a) lorsque p=0, t=1 et R2 repré- sente un atome d'hydrogène ou -COR3, (b) lorsque p=1, t=0 et R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre un atome d'hydrogène ou -COR3, R3 représentant un radical alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié ayant de l à 17 atomes de carbone, un radical cycloalkyle, ou un radical phényle éventuellement substitué par un alkyle inférieur, un alcoxy inférieur, un atome d'halogène, une fonction nitro, un radical -CF3 ou une fonction hydroxyle, et les mélanges desdits esters. Ces compositions sont utiles en tant qu'agents anti-prolifératifs, notamment dans le traitement du psoriasis et des verrues, ou en tant qu'agents anti-inflammatoires dans le traitement des rhumatismes, des dermatoses et de l'eczéma ou en tant qu'agents anti-acnéiques.
