The present invention provides a composition for neurotrophic action which comprises a compound of formula (I), wherein Ar is an optionally condensed phenyl group which may be substituted; n is an integer of 1 to 10; R is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; and Y is an amino group which may be substituted or a nitrogen-containing saturated heterocyclic group which may be substituted; or a salt thereof, which compounds are useful for preventing and/or treating (1) neurodegenerative diseases (e.g. senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Down's syndrome, Parkinson's disease, Creutzfelt-Jakob disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, diabetic neuropathy, etc.), (2) neuropathy in cerebrovascular diseases (e.g. impairment of cerebral blood flow based on cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral sclerosis, etc.), (3) brain trauma, spiral cord injury, cerebritis sequela and cerebral palsy, (4) mental diseases (e.g. depression, panic disorder, schizophrenia, etc.), etc.
La présente invention concerne une composition ayant une action neurotrophique et comprenant un composé de la formule (I), dans laquelle Ar représente un groupe phényle facultativement condensé pouvant être substitué; n est un nombre entier compris 1 et 10; R est un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe hydrocarbure pouvant être substitué; et Y est un groupe amino pouvant être substitué ou un groupe hétérocyclique saturé contenant de l'azote lequel peut être substitué; ou un sel de ceux-ci; lesquels composés sont utiles dans la prévention et/ou le traitement (1) de maladies neurodégénératives (par exemple la démence sénile, la maladie d'Alzheimer, le syndrome de Down, la maladie de Parkinson, la maladie de Creutzfelt-Jacob, la sclérose latérale amyotrophique, la neuropathie diabétique, etc.), (2) la neuropathie dans les maladies cérébrovasculaires (par exemple, un dysfonctionnement du flux sanguin cérébral dû à l'infarctus cérébral, une hémorragie cérébrale, une sclérose cérébrale, etc.), (3) le trauma cérébral, des lésions de la moelle épinière, des séquelles de cérébrite et l'infirmité motrice cérébrale, (4) des maladies mentales (par exemple la dépression, le trouble panique, la schizophrénie, etc.), etc.
