The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for regulating apoptosis containing at least one active ingredient selected from the group consisting of 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene derivatives represented by general formula (I), (wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each the same or different and are lower alkyl groups; R5 is a lower alkoxy group; and <u>A</u> is a lower alkylene group) and salts thereof. The present invention also provides methods for treating and preventing various diseases by regulating apoptosis by use of said pharmaceutical composition.
Cette invention présente une composition pharmaceutique destinée à réguler l'apoptose, contenant au moins un ingrédient actif choisi dans le groupe constitué de dérivés de 2,3-dihydro-1H-indène, représentés par la formule générale (I) (dans laquelle R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿, et R?4¿ sont, chacun, identiques ou différents et sont des groupes alkyle inférieur et R?5¿ un groupe alcoxy inférieur, <u>A</u> étant un groupe alkylène inférieur) ainsi que les sels qui en sont issus. Cette invention présente également des méthodes de traitement et de prévention de diverses maladies par la régulation de l'apoptose, du fait de l'utilisation de ladite composition pharmaceutique.
