The invention concerns a pharmaceutical composition to be administered orally with absorption of at least one active principle preferably through the mucous membranes of the mouth, comprising an excipient containing at least one sugar and optionally a texturing agent, characterised in that said excipient further contains one fat or one vegetable or animal oil. The composition constituted a perfectly homogeneous mixture, containing at least 10 % unconnected water, 1 to 15 % fat or oil and 50 to 80 % sugar or sweetening agents. The active principles of the medicines can be brought in solid or liquid form, soluble or insoluble in water or the fats, hygroscopic or not; they can be indifferently absorbed at any level of the digestive tube; however the composition isi advantageously adapted to absorption through the mucous membranes of the mouth. The compositions are in the form of tablets, pastes, lozenges.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique destinée à une administration par voie buccale avec absorption d'au moins un principe actif de façon préférentielle à travers les muqueuses de la bouche, comprenant une base excipiendaire contenant au moins un sucre et éventuellement un agent de texture, caractérisée en ce que ladite base excipiendaire contient en outre au moins une graisse ou une huile végétale ou animale. La composition selon l'invention constitue un mélange parfaitement homogène, contenant moins de 10 % d'eau non liée, de 1 à 15 % de graisse ou d'huile et de 50 à 80 % de sucres ou agents sucrants. Les principes actifs des médicaments peuvent être amenés sous forme solide ou liquide, solubles ou non solubles dans l'eau ou les graisses, hygroscopique ou non; ils peuvent être indifféremment absorbé à tout niveau du tube digestif; toutefois, la composition est avantageusement adaptée à une absorption à travers les muqueuses de la bouche. Les compositions selon l'invention sont sous forme de tablettes, de pâtes, de pastilles à croquer.
