ABSTRACT The invention concerns pharmaceutical compounds having analgesic, and in some cases, in addition anti-inflammatory properties, for use in the treat- ment of painful inflammatory joint disease. The compounds, which are new, are 1-alkyl (orcycloalkyl)-4-(N-alkanoyl)substituted-amino-tetrahydro-1,3,5- triazine-2,6-diones of the formula; Image I or base-addition salts thereof.
