Patients susceptible to or suffering from central nervous system disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Tourette's syndrome, attention deficit disorder or schizophrenia) are treated by administering an effective amount of an aryl substituted olefinic amine compound of Formula (I): wherein X is C-R', C-OR', C-CH2-OR' wherein R' is selected from the group consisting of H, C1-C5 alkyl, an aromatic group containing species and alkyl-, halo-, or amino-substituted aromatic group containing species; E' is hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyl or halo substituted C1-C5 alkyl; E'' is C1-C5 alkyl or halo substituted C1-C5 alkyl; Z' and Z'' are each individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C5 alkyl, aryl rings, and can form a ring structure (a), A, A' and A'' are each individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C7 alkyl, and halo; m is 0 or 1; p is 0 or 1 with the proviso that when m or p is 0 then that E'' is hydrogen; and the wavy line in the structure represents a cis (Z) or trans (E) form of the compound. Exemplary compounds include (E)-N-methyl-4-[3-(benzyloxypyridin)yl]-3-buten-1- amine, (E)-N-methyl-4-[3-(5-phenoxypyridin)yl]-3-buten-1-amine, (E)-N-methyl-4- [3-(5-isopropoxypyridin)yl]-3-buten-1-amine, (E)-N-methyl-4-[3-(5- methoxymethylpyridin)yl]-3-buten-1-amine, and (E)-N-methyl-4-[3-(5- phenylpyridin)yl]-3-buten-1-amine.
La présente invention concerne un composé aminé oléfinique à substitution aryl permettant de traiter des patients susceptibles de souffrir ou souffrant de désordres du système nerveux central (par exemple, maladie d'Alzheimer, maladie de Parkinson, syndrome de Tourette, désordre de déficit de l'attention ou schizophrénie) par administration d'une quantité efficace d'un composé aminé oléfinique à substitution aryl représenté par la formule (I) dans laquelle X représente C-R', C-OR', C-CH¿2?-OR' dans laquelle R' est sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de H, C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl, d'espèces contenant un groupe aromatique et d'espèces contenant un groupe aromatique à substitution amino, halo, alkyl; E' représente un hydrogène ou C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl, C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl à substitution halo; E'' représente C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl ou C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl à substitution halo; Z' et Z'' sont chacun individuellement sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué d'hydrogène, C¿1?-C¿5? alkyl, de noyaux d'aryl et peuvent constituer une structure à noyaux (a); A, A' et A'' sont chacun individuellement sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué d'hydrogène, C¿1?-C¿7? alkyl et halo; m représente 0 ou 1; p représente 0 ou 1 sous réserve que lorsque m ou p sont égaux à 0, E'' représente un hydrogène; et la ligne ondulée de la structure représente une forme cis (Z) ou trans (E) du composé. Les composés exemplaires comprennent (E)-N-méthyl-4-[3-(5-benzyloxypyridine)yl]-3-butène-1-amine, (E)-N-méthyl-4-[3-(5-phénoxypyridine)yl]-3-butène-1-amine, (E)-N-méthyl-4-[3-(5-isopropoxypyridine)yl]-3-butène-1-amine, (E)-N-méthyl-4-[3-(5-méthoxyméthylpyridine)yl]-3-butène-1-amine et (E)-N-méthyl-4-[3-(5-phénylpyridine)yl]-3-butène-1-amine.
