A diketopiperazine of formula (I), wherein each of R7 and R8 which may be the same or different, is hydrogen or a nitro group; Y is (a), -O- or -S-, wherein each of R9 and R10, which may be the same or different, is hydrogen or a nitro group; n is 0, 1 or 2; m is an integer of 1 to 6; each R6, which may be the same or different, is a C1-C6 alkyl group; and X is selected from (i) a phenyl group of formula (b); (ii) a heterocyclic ring selected from furan, thiophene, pyridine, quinoline and indole; (iii) a C1-C6 alkyl group, a 2,3- methylenedioxyphenyl group or a 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl group; and (iv) a group -(CH2)p-Z, wherein p is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4 and Z is a cyclohexyl group substituted by one or more C1-C6 alkyl and the salts and esters thereof; have activity as inhibitors of plasminogen activator inhibitor.
L'invention se rapporte à la dicétopipérazine de la formule (I), dans laquelle R¿7? et R¿8?, pouvant être identiques ou différents, représentent chacun hydrogène ou un groupe nitro; Y représente la formule (a), -O- ou bien -S-, où R¿9? et R¿10?, pouvant être identiques ou différents, représentent chacun hydrogène ou un groupe nitro; m vaut 0, 1 ou 2; m est un nombre entier de 1 à 6; chaque R¿6?, pouvant être identique ou différent, représente un groupe alkyle C¿1?-C¿6?; et X est sélectionné parmi (i) un groupe phényle de la formule (b); (ii) un cycle hétérocyclique sélectionné parmi furane, thiophène, pyridine, quinoline et indole, (iii) un groupe alkyle C¿1?-C¿6?, un groupe 2,3-méthylènedioxyphényle ou un groupe 3,4-méthylènedioxyphényle; et (iv) un groupe -(CH¿2?)¿p?-Z, dans lequel p vaut 0 ou est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 4, et Z représente un groupe cyclohèxyle substitué par un ou plusieurs alkyles C¿1?-C¿6?; cette invention se rapporte également aux sels et aux esters de ces composés qui agissent comme inhibiteurs de l'inhibiteur de l'activateur du plasminogène.
