Abstract of the disclosure: The invention provides an active substance obtained from blood serum having a molecular weight of below 2,000 suitable for stabilizing brostaglandins, especially those of the A. E. F or I type, furthermore a prostaglandin-con- taining pharmaceutical composition comprising a prostaglan- din or derivative thereof together with the above active substance as stabilizer. The invention provides further- more a process for the preparation of such stabilizer from blood serum, and a process for stabilizing pharmaceutical prostaglandin compositions.
