There is disclosed a pharmaceutical preparation based on plasma proteins and having antimicrobial, antiphlogistic and antiallergic activities. This preparation contains immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin G (IgG) and transferrin, wherein between 0.40 and 0.80 parts by weight of IgG and 0.15 to 0.45 parts by weight of transferrin are provided per part by weight of IgA. It has proved that both the intensity of action on the bacterial and viral pathogens and the spectrum of an IgA- and IgG-containing preparation may be increased if it additionally contains transferrin and the three components IgA, IgG and transferrin are present at the weight ratios defined by the invention.
