The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a modafinil compound which is modafinil, a pharmaceutically acceptable isomer of modafinil or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt of modafinil in a non-aqueous solution comprising a polyol organic solvent. The composition of the invention may be used for treatment of sleepiness, tiredness, Parkinson's disease, cerebral ischemia, stroke, a sleep apnea, an eating disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cognitive dysfunction or fatigue; or for promotion of wakefulness, stimulation of appetite, or stimulation of weight gain.
L'invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques à base de composés de modafinil, ainsi que des compositions pharmaceutiques non aqueuses à base de composés de modafinil dispersées dans des solvants organiques. Par ailleurs, l'invention concerne l'utilisation de ces compositions dans le traitement de certaines maladies.
