A system communicates pharmaceutical verification information between a server and a node using a network. The node includes a pharmaceutical identification and verification system. The verification information includes a known spectral signature of a known pharmaceutical and a corresponding known pharmaceutical name and dosage strength of the known pharmaceutical. The server stores the verification information in a server database. The node receives the verification information from the server, stores the verification information in the client database, reads a pharmaceutical name and dosage strength from a container enclosing a pharmaceutical, obtains a detected spectral signature for the pharmaceutical, and compares the detected spectral signature to the at least one known spectral signature. The pharmaceutical identification and verification system includes a static multimodal multiplex spectrometer. The verification information can also include a spectral signature of a known container.
L'invention concerne un système qui communique des informations de vérification pharmaceutique entre un serveur et un nAEud sur un réseau. Le nAEud comporte un système d'identification et de vérification pharmaceutique. Les informations de vérification incluent la signature spectrale connue d'un nom pharmaceutique connu et d'un nom pharmaceutique connu correspondant ainsi qu'une résistance au dosage du produit pharmaceutique connu. Le serveur stocke les informations de vérification dans une base de données de serveur. Le nAEud reçoit les informations de vérification du serveur ; stocke les informations de vérification dans la base de données de client ; lit un nom pharmaceutique et la résistance au dosage d'un contenant renfermant un produit pharmaceutique ; obtient une signature spectrale détectée pour le produit pharmaceutique ; et compare la signature spectrale détectée à la ou aux signatures spectrales connues. Le système d'identification et de vérification pharmaceutique comporte un spectromètre multiplex multimodal statique. Les informations de vérification peuvent également comporter la signature spectrale d'un contenant connu.
