ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Phase comparing circuitry with an unlock alarm signal generating circuit neglects the output of a phase comparator included therein when it is representative of an unlocked state only for a short period of time. The circuitry prevents an unlock signal from being generated in a locked state or when modulation is effected.
