The invention concerns a phase-conjugation laser mirror by four-wave mixing in its amplifying medium (2), wherein said mirror (9) is generated by exclusively passive means (5-8). A single amplifying medium (2) is provided in a Fabry-Perot cavity and the passive means (5-8) are arranged to generate pump beams forming a distribution wave in said cavity. The laser is well adapted to machining materials.

Laser à miroir à conjugaison de phase par mélange à quatre ondes dans son milieu amplificateur (2), dans lequel ledit miroir (9) est généré par des moyens (5-8) exclusivement passifs. Il est prévu un milieu amplificateur unique (2) dans une cavité de Fabry-Pérot et lesdits moyens passifs (5-8) sont agencés pour générer des faisceaux de pompage formant une onde stationnaire dans ladite cavité. Le laser est bien adapté à l'usinage des matériaux.
