The present invention is directed towards: non-liquid crystalline phenol-terminated diester compositions which may be liquids or solids and crosslinkable formulations containing a mixture of the phenol terminated diesters and an amino crosslinking agent. These diesters are characterized by the structure of formula (1). Also within the scope of the present invention are crosslinkable formulations comprising a mixture of amino crosslinking agent and phenol terminated diesters based on polyester diols containing carbonate and groups of aliphatic and aliphatic/aromatic polycarbonates containing carbonate and groups characterized by structure (2). The invention is also directed to a single stage direct esterification or multi stage esterification processes for producing the aforementioned diesters of formula (I) either with or without the use of esterification catalysts.
La présente invention concerne : des compositions cristallines non liquides de diester à terminaison phénol qui peuvent être liquides ou solides et des formulations contenant un mélange des diesters à terminaison phénol et d'un agent de réticulation de type amino. Ces diesters sont caractérisés par la structure (1). La présente invention porte également sur des formulations réticulables comprenant un mélange d'agent de réticulation de type amino et de diesters à terminaison phénol fondées sur des polyester-diols contenant du carbonate et des groupes de polycarbonates aliphatiques et aliphatiques/aromatiques contenant du carbonate et des groupes caractérisés par la structure (2). L'invention concerne également des procédés d'estérification directe en une étape ou en plusieurs étapes pour produire les diesters susmentionnées de formule (I) avec ou sans l'utilisation de catalyseurs d'estérification.
