ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel blends and concentrates of phenolic antioxidants such as, for example butylated hydroxy anisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxy toluene (BHT) in polymeric resin carriers, preferably in polyolefinic hydeocarbon resins and especially in polyethylene, are provided. The concentrates are characterized by increased compatibility of the antioxidant with the resin carrier and by improved stability on storage. The concentrates and blends may be extruded with a polyolefinic resin to form film in which the rate of migration of the antioxidant to the surface of the film is controlled and/or predetermined.
