ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New phenoxyalkylcarboxylic acid derivatives and their preparation are provided of the formula (I) Image (I) wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl radical, R1 is an alkyl radical or an aryl, aralkyl or aralkenyl radical, the aryl moiety of which is unsubstituted or substituted one or more times by halogen atoms, hydroxyl groups, tri- fluoromethyl radicals or lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or acyl radicals, R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen atoms or lower alkyl radicals and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, and the pharmaceutically acceptable, physiologically compatible salts, esters and amides thereof, the derivatives display a significant lipid-sinking action and exhibit an outstanding inhibiting action on thrombocyte aggresion.
