RAN 4085/1 ABSTRACT Phenyl-quinolizidines of the general formula Image I , wherein X, Y, R1 and R2 have the following significance: X: hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, lower- -alkoxy, lower-alkyl or trifluoromethyl, Y: hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, lower- -alkoxy or lower-alkyl, R1 hydroxy, lower-alkoxy, acyloxy or, where R2 represents the group A defined hereinafter, hydrogen, R2: lower-alkyl, phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, lower-alkoxy or trifluoromethyl, or (where R1 = hydrogen) a group A of the formula Image Image or A , wherein R3, R4, R5 and R6 have the . following significance: R3: oxygen or sulphur R4: hydrogen or lower-alkyl, R5 and R6 independently of one another hydrogen, methyl, fluorine, chlorine, methoxy or trifluoromethyl, or together -(CH2)4-, in the form of the racemate or the enantiomers, as well as acid addition salts of such compounds. Further, their manufacture and use, intermediates in the manufacture of said phenyl-quinolizidines and pharmaceu- tical preparations containing said phenyl-quinolizidines for use in the treatment of illnesses, especially of psychoses, neuroses, nausea or pain.
