A thiophene derivative containing a phenylamidino group represented by the general formula (I): (see fig. I) wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different from each other and are hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. The compound is useful for the prevention and/or treatment of inflammatory diseases.

I) où R1 et R2 sont identiques ou différents l'un de l'autre et sont un atome d'hydrogène, un atome d'halogène, un groupe alkyle de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ou un groupe alcoxyle de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone; ou un sel pharmacologiquement acceptable de ce dernier. Le composé est utile pour la prévention et/ou le traitement des maladies inflammatoires.
