Among all, compounds wherein Z is substituted chroman-2-yl, 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-2-yl, etc. have an effect of inhibiting the formation of lipid peroxides too.

L'invention se rapporte à des composés phénylazole représentés par la formule générale (1) ou à des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ces composés et à des médicaments contenant ces composés en tant que principe actif et destinés au traitement de l'hyperlipidémie. Dans la formule (1), A représente imidazolyle, pyrazolyle, etc.; B représente le composé de formule (1a) or (1b), (où R?2¿ et R?3¿ représentent chacun hydrogène, alkyle C¿1-6?, etc.; et k est 0 ou un entier compris entre 1 et 15); Y représente O, S, une liaison, etc.; et Z représente un hétérocycle saturé ou insaturé, éventuellement substitué, contenant 1 à 4 atomes de N, O ou S. Les composés dans lesquels Z est 2,3-dihydrobenzofurane-2-yle, chromane-2-yle substitué etc. possèdent également un effet inhibiteur sur la formation de peroxydes lipidiques.
