Abstract: The invention provides compounds of the formula: Image (I) wherein R1 and R2 are each a phenyl group optionally substituted by a radical selected from the group consisting of C1-C5 alkyl, C1-C5 alkoxy, C1-C5 alkylthio, C1-C5 alkylenedioxy, halogen, nitro, and halogeno-C1-C5 alkoxy; R3 and R4 are each C1-C5 alkyl; and Z is N or CH. These compounds exhibit pronounced insecticidal activity. The invention also provides a method for preparing the com- pounds (I) and a pesticidal formulation containing the same.
